كَیْفَ یَكُوْنُ لِلْمُشْرِكِیْنَ عَهْدٌ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَ عِنْدَ رَسُوْلِهٖۤ اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ عٰهَدْتُّمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ١ۚ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوْا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِیْمُوْا لَهُمْ١ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِیْنَ ۷
اِن مشرکین کے لیے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کے نزدیک کوئی عہد آخر کیسے ہوسکتا ہے؟ بجز اُن لوگوں کے جن سے تم نے مسجد حرام کے پاس معاہدہ کیا تھا، تو جب تک وہ تمہارے ساتھ سیدھے رہیں تم بھی ان کے ساتھ سیدھے رہو کیونکہ اللہ متقیوں کو پسند کرتا ہے
How can there be a covenant with those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity be binding upon Allah and His Messenger, excepting those with whom you made a covenant near the Sacred Mosque? Behave in a straight manner with them so long as they behave with you in a straight manner for Allah loves the Godfearing.
