وَ جَعَلْنَا الَّیْلَ وَ النَّهَارَ اٰیَتَیْنِ فَمَحَوْنَاۤ اٰیَةَ الَّیْلِ وَ جَعَلْنَاۤ اٰیَةَ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِّتَبْتَغُوْا فَضْلًا مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَ لِتَعْلَمُوْا عَدَدَ السِّنِیْنَ وَ الْحِسَابَ١ؕ وَ كُلَّ شَیْءٍ فَصَّلْنٰهُ تَفْصِیْلًا ۱۲
دیکھو، ہم نے رات اور دن کو دو نشانیاں بنایا ہے رات کی نشانی کو ہم نے بے نور بنایا، اور دن کی نشانی کو روشن کر دیا تاکہ تم اپنے رب کا فضل تلاش کر سکو اور ماہ و سال کا حساب معلوم کر سکو اِسی طرح ہم نے ہر چیز کو الگ الگ ممیز کر کے رکھا ہے
We have made night and day as two signs. We made the sign of the night devoid of light, and made the sign of the day radiant that you may seek the bounty of your Lord and know the computation of years and numbers. Thus We have expounded everything in detail to keep everything distinct from the other.
