فَكَاَیِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْیَةٍ اَهْلَكْنٰهَا وَ هِیَ ظَالِمَةٌ فَهِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلٰى عُرُوْشِهَا وَ بِئْرٍ مُّعَطَّلَةٍ وَّ قَصْرٍ مَّشِیْدٍ ۴۵
کتنی ہی خطاکاربستیاں ہیں جن کو ہم نے تباہ کیا ہے اور آج وہ اپنی چھتوں پر اُلٹی پڑی ہیں، کتنے ہی کنویں بیکار اور کتنے ہی قصر کھنڈر بنے ہوئے ہیں
URDU TRANSLATION
How many towns have We destroyed because their people were steeped in iniquity: so they lie fallen down upon their turrets! How many wells lie deserted; and how many towering palaces lie in ruins!
