یَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ یَخْطَفُ اَبْصَارَهُمْ١ؕ كُلَّمَاۤ اَضَآءَ لَهُمْ مَّشَوْا فِیْهِ١ۙۗ وَ اِذَاۤ اَظْلَمَ عَلَیْهِمْ قَامُوْا١ؕ وَ لَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَ اَبْصَارِهِمْ١ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۠ ۲۰
چمک سے ان کی حالت یہ ہو رہی ہے کہ گویا عنقریب بجلی اِن کی بصارت اُچک لے جائے گی جب ذرا کچھ روشنی انہیں محسوس ہوتی ہے تو اِس میں کچھ دور چل لیتے ہیں اور جب ان پر اندھیرا چھا جاتا ہے تو کھڑ ے ہو جاتے ہیں اللہ چاہتا تو ان کی سماعت اور بصارت بالکل ہی سَلب کر لیتا، یقیناً وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے
The lightning terrifies them as if it were going to snatch away their eyesight from them. When they see light, they move on a little further and When it becomes dark for them, they stand still. Had Allah so willed, He could have deprived them totally of their hearing and their sight. Most surely Allah has power over everything.
